Taktile welcomes Alex Zieger as VP of Finance to build scale

We are proud to announce the appointment of Alex Zieger as Vice President of Finance at Taktile. Based in Bonn, Germany, Alex will oversee our global financial operations as we expand further into the enterprise market and explore new verticals.

A graduate of Maastricht University in the Netherlands, Alex brings over 15 years of experience spanning roles at PwC, Formel D Group, and most notably, LeanIX—a German-based but globally operating B2B SaaS company. When Alex joined LeanIX, it was an early-stage startup with less than $5 million in ARR. Over the course of 7.5 years, he helped scale the company to more than $100 million in ARR, positioning it as a category-defining SaaS scale-up.

During his tenure at LeanIX, Alex played a key role in two major funding rounds—a $30 million Series C and an $80 million Series D—and in 2023, was part of the leadership team as the company was acquired by SAP for over €1 billion. In the post-acquisition phase, he led the finance post-merger integration activities, further proving his ability to navigate complex transitions and integrate at scale.

Throughout his career, Alex has honed expertise in consulting, accounting advisory services, and financial planning and analysis. Most recently, he spearheaded the development of a high-performing financial unit from the ground up, showcasing his ability to build and scale financial infrastructure that drives transformative results.

“We’re excited to welcome Alex to Taktile,” says Co-Founder and CEO Maik Taro Wehmeyer. “Alex’s exceptional blend of financial acumen and strategic foresight will be critical as we build on our momentum, having tripled our revenue three years in a row. His leadership will help ensure we scale responsibly and sustainably, while continuing to empower businesses with the tools they need to make critical risk decisions.”

Alex’s career has been defined by his ability to align financial strategy with long-term business growth. His time at LeanIX not only demonstrates deep operational expertise but also his effectiveness in supporting global expansion and navigating high-growth environments. His experience will be instrumental as Taktile continues to evolve its offerings and scale to meet the changing needs of our customers.

“I’m excited to join Taktile during this pivotal phase of its growth journey,” says Alex. “The team’s focus, talent, and commitment to delivering real value are truly exceptional. I’m eager to contribute to our continued growth and help our customers unlock meaningful, long-term impact.”

Please join us in welcoming Alex to the Taktile team!
